Ionia Michigan is a smaller country town in West Michigan. That’s where Matthew is graduating high school from so what better place to do his senior photos that in his home town and home baseball field?

Matthew’s evening was just perfect. We started off at a pond where he grew up camping with family friends. As a bonus, there was a turtle in the road so he picked it up and brought it back to the pond where it swiftly swam away! Little spontaneous moments like these are always fun to capture as it catches the senior’s authentic personality.

After the pond, we made our way to his home baseball field where we got creative with posing and prompts to help bring out his baseball side. The sun was just setting creating the perfect sky as we wandered the field.
