Hey, I'm Katie.

I grew up never really having a set thing I dreamed of doing one day. A lot of the time this stressed me out because I'm the planner and need to know what exact path I am supposed to go down hehe :) I also struggled with self confidence which hindered my ability to dream.
But then I found photography my second year in college all thanks to my sweet mama- she’s the one who brought it up and believed I could do it which was all I needed in the moment to run with the idea. As well as the passion God lit within me. It all made sense- I love to serve, I love to hype people up and make them realize how beautiful they are, little details/moments jump out to me, and I am a HUGE fan of love. So I interned for a wedding photographer in 2020 where I discovered more of my passion and learned as I second shot for her. I then had 5 weddings of my own in 2021 and decided to create Authentic Radiance later that year in August.
Photography found me, healed me of my own doubts, gives me a platform to build others up, and allows me to meet the sweetest people in the midst of their sweetest life moments. So for these reasons, I keep striving to grow! Authentic Radiance to be the best business for you.
I’m a child of God, grounded in faith, and deeply value family, friends, and meaningful experiences. With my amazing husband, Jeremiah, by my side as my biggest supporter, I find joy in nature and adventure, always seeking moments that refresh and inspire me.
Pets are a huge part of my life! I have Gus (the orange cat) and Willow (the grey cat) who's world was rocked when we got Ember, our vizsla puppy, summer of 2024. They aren't friends yet but I see it coming soon!
