Thomas and Delila had the most intimate, beautiful backyard wedding in Shipshewana, Indiana. The day started at the couple’s first home together as Delila and her bridesmaids got ready and I started the details. As a wedding photographer, I always look for ways to incorporate the couple’s aesthetic in their detail flay lay photos. For Delila and Thomas, I chose to set up their pieces under a beautiful tree in their front yard with subtle peeks of light. And what a special touch for them to remember their wedding details with a backdrop of their first home.

The rest of the day unfolded at Delila’s family home where they worked for a year to prep it in order to host an amazing union of Delila and Thomas alongside many of their family and friends. Every detail and moment was so intentional and full of joy focused on faith and community.

We ended with some sunset bride and groom photos and the the sweetest exit consisting of sparklers with a horse and buggy getaway. I was honored to be a part of such a special day and being able to capture the community the couple has as they made a Christ-centered commitment of marriage.
